Breeze Agents can read context and take action in third-party tools — such as Asana, Gong, G2, and more — using plain-language prompting, with third-party MCP server support.
With this update, the Asana MCP server has been updated to focus on the functionality you use most: the tool set is more targeted, tool names are simplified (e.g., create_task instead of asana_create_task), and agents can work more efficiently as a result.
Breeze Agents are only as useful as the context they have access to. With the updated Asana MCP server, Breeze agents can access context outside of HubSpot that lives in Asana without having to manually bridge the two tools. The upgraded tool set is more focused and consistent, which reduces context window usage so agents can work faster and more efficiently.
To get started with the updated version, you'll need to reconnect the Asana MCP server to your Breeze Agent. Once reconnected, your agent can access Asana tasks, projects, and more. You can ask your agent to list the available Asana tools to see what actions are supported.
Notes: The Asana MCP tool set will continue to evolve based on usage and feedback — tools may be added, updated, or removed over time. To avoid disruption, avoid treating tool names and interfaces as permanent. Use the tools/list MCP command to get the latest tool definitions.
