Conditional Property Logic When Editing Records on Android

Written by Catalin Vlad | Jul 21, 2026 2:11:56 PM

What is it?

When editing CRM records in the HubSpot mobile app, you'll now see the same conditional property logic that admins configure in HubSpot — including follow-up fields, required information, and dependent options — applied throughout the editing flow, not just when creating records.

Why does it matter?

Before this update, admin-defined conditional logic applied when creating records on mobile, but not when editing existing ones. That gap made it easier for important data rules to be skipped when reps updated records in the field, leading to incomplete records and inconsistent pipeline data.

Now, editing records on mobile follows the same rules admins have already set up in HubSpot. Reps can make updates confidently from anywhere, and teams get more complete, reliable data without extra cleanup.

How does it work?

No action is required to enable this — conditional logic will now apply automatically when you edit CRM records in the HubSpot mobile app. This includes:

  • - Surfacing follow-up fields when a selected value triggers dependent properties
  • -Requiring specific information before a record can be saved
  • -Limiting available options based on earlier selections in the editing flow
  • -Applying across the About tab, All properties, the Property Edit screen, and when changing a record's stage or status
  • -Showing related dependent properties triggered during a search within All properties

To access this on Android, download the latest version of the HubSpot app from the Google Play Store.
