Deal Insights CRM Card

Why does it matter?

Sales reps need actionable insights in the context of each deal. By analyzing transcripts alongside emails and notes, Deal Insights helps teams:

  • Spot risks earlier and with greater confidence
  • Uncover buyer goals more accurately
  • Find critical information faster
  • Enable more effective outreach and coaching

Previously, Deal Insights were only available in the Sales Workspace. With this rollout, insights meet reps where they spend most of their time—inside the deal record itself—so they always have critical guidance at their fingertips.

 

 

How does it work?

  • Data sources:
    • Call Transcripts – from recorded meetings
    • Emails – buyer replies, objections, or delays
    • Notes – rep-added context during or after interactions
  • UI behavior:
    • Default deal record view: The Deal Insights card appears automatically, below Deal Score. No setup required.
    • Customized deal record view: A user with CRM customization permissions must enable and add the Deal Insights card in record settings.
    • CRM preview sidebar: The Deal Insights card can also be added in the preview sidebar for deals, giving reps access to risks and goals without needed to open the full record.
  • Permissions: Once visible, all users with permission to access a deal will see the same risks and goals, regardless of their access to underlying engagements. Each insight supports quick feedback via thumbs up/down.
  • Example: Previously, a risk like “Budget concerns” might only surface from emails. Now, if a buyer says “We’re cutting 30% from next quarter’s budget” on a call, you’ll know right away.

 

 

Who gets it?

This enhancement is available to all customers with Deal Insights enabled and call transcription turned on, and is included in the following subscriptions:

  • Sales Hub Professional
  • Sales Hub Enterprise

Requirements to view and act on Deal Insights:

  • You must have an assigned Sales Hub seat
  • For default deal record layouts: no setup required
  • For customized deal record layouts: a user with CRM customization permissions must enable the Deal Insights card in record settings
