What is it?
This feature allows you to configure a custom return-path domain for each of your email sending domains, enabling your marketing emails to pass strict authentication policies while sending over our shared network.
Why does it matter?
Proper email authentication is one of the strongest signals inbox providers use to evaluate sender trust. With a custom return-path domain, your sending domain can align with your From address - strengthening your authentication posture, improving deliverability, and meeting the increasingly strict requirements from providers. It also unlocks future capabilities like BIMI, which displays your brand logo directly in recipients' inboxes.
How does it work?
- - Navigate to Settings -> Content -> Domains & URLs -> Email Sending Domains
- - Select the Actions menu next to one of your email sending domains
- - Select Add return-path domain
- - Specify new domain and configure the necessary DNS records
Once DNS is authenticated, all emails sent from that email sending domain will use the new custom return path domain on the envelop from.
