Report Dashboard Caching

What is it?

Dashboard caching lets you control how long your reporting dashboards hold onto loaded data — from 5 minutes up to 7 days — so dashboards load faster as you move through HubSpot, while keeping the option to manually refresh at any time.

Why does it matter?

Complex dashboards can take time to load even when your underlying data hasn't changed. Caching eliminates unnecessary reloads by letting you choose a refresh window that fits how you actually use your data. You get faster load times when you need a quick view, and can do manual refreshes when you need current data.

How does it work?

Dashboard caching is not enabled by default. To turn it on:

• - Open any Dashboard and click Settings Icon in the top right.
• - Under Your cache setting, choose a cache duration (from 5 minutes to 7 days).
  •    - For any Dashboards you have own/edit permissions, set the Dashboard cache setting to set a default for other users viewing the Dashboard.
• - A Last updated timestamp appears in the lower right corner of each report so you can see when the data was last pulled.

Once enabled, the dashboard displays data from the cache until the selected time window expires or you manually refresh. To refresh data at any time, click Refresh Dashboard in the dashboard header.
