Sandbox creation now copies Automated Transactional Emails

What is it?

When you create a sandbox, automated transactional emails will be copied along with any workflows or segments that reference them. Deploy to Production is also supported for new transactional emails.

Why does it matter?

If you use automated transactional emails across your workflows, you previously had to manually recreate these emails and their dependent assets every time you created a sandbox. This created extra work for teams who want to test automated transactional emails.

Now, when you create a sandbox, we'll copy your automated transactional emails and any workflows or segments that rely on them.

How does it work?

When you create a sandbox, HubSpot will:

1. Copy your automated transactional emails
2. Copy any workflows or segments that reference these emails

Deploy to Production:

• - Newly created automated transactional emails in sandbox can be deployed back to production.
• - Any supported assets that depend on this email will also be eligible for deployment.

Note:

• - Non-automated & Single-send API transactional emails are not copied to sandbox in this iteration.

Who gets it?

Sandboxes are available to customers with an Enterprise subscription. Customers who have purchased the Transactional Email Add-On are able to test this feature in sandboxes.
