What is it?
We announced that legacy scoring properties would stop updating starting August 31, 2025. By now (October 3, 2025), all legacy score properties have stopped updating.
All customers that were using the legacy scoring properties can create new scores with the Lead Scoring and Health Scoring apps.
- Lead Scoring (in the Marketing navigation) helps you use fit and engagement insights to score and prioritize your leads.
- Marketing Professional and Enterprise customers can create contact and company scores
- Sales Professional and Enterprise customers can create deal and company scores
- Health Scoring (in the Customer Success Workspace) helps you measure customer sentiment and prioritize which customers to focus on.
- Service Professional and Enterprise customers can create scores for the object that represents their customers

Why does it matter?
Your legacy scoring properties are no longer updating with new data, which means your scoring insights using these properties are now outdated. The transition to the new tools are necessary because the legacy scoring properties lacked essential features and are no longer supported by HubSpot’s platform updates. The new Lead Scoring and Health Scoring tools offer enhanced functionality that better aligns with how modern businesses qualify prospects and nurture customer relationships, including features like actionable insights, decay, resets, and scalable rules that weren't available in legacy scoring.
Timeline
- October 3, 2025: All legacy scoring properties have stopped updating.
- February 28, 2026: Existing legacy scoring properties, their values, and their scoring rules will be removed and no longer visible in customer portals.
