Tax Code Mapping for NetSuite Sales Order Line Items

What is it?

Introducing tax code mapping for NetSuite sales orders. You can now select a tax code for each line item when the Create a NetSuite sales order workflow action creates a sales order.

Why does it matter?

Assigning a tax code to each line item gives you more control over how your NetSuite sales orders are taxed. You can now match the tax code to what your NetSuite account requires, keeping your sales order data more accurate.

How does it work?

When you set up the Create a NetSuite sales order workflow action, you'll see a new Tax Code field for each line item.

• - Select the NetSuite tax code you want applied to each line item directly in the workflow action.
• - That tax code is automatically included every time the workflow creates a sales order in NetSuite.
• - Existing workflows are unaffected until you choose to set a tax code.

Note: This update applies to NetSuite's standard tax setup and does not apply to accounts using NetSuite's SuiteTax.
