Track 20 New Company News Signals in Buyer Intent

What is it?

20 company news signals to track what your most important accounts are doing, right in your signals tab.

We've expanded Buyer Intent's news signal catalog to 20 signals spanning financial moves, leadership changes, corporate structure shifts, and competitive activity. Filter on them, segment with them, and trigger workflows off them like any other signal.

Why does it matter?

A tracked account just raised a round, lost its VP of Sales, or got named in a competitor's press release. Those are the moments outreach lands, and now your team sees them the moment they happen.

Three things you can do starting today:

Catch financial inflection points. When a tracked company goes public, reports earnings, takes on investment, or moves major assets, reach out while the moment is fresh. Funding and growth news tells you budget may be opening up.

Stay ahead of leadership change. Spot executive hires, departures, and retirements as they happen. Find your new champion before a competitor does, and catch the accounts losing the contact who championed you.

See competitive and risk moments. Know when a competitor gets named, a lawsuit is filed, a partnership ends, or a client is lost. Each one is an opening for a save play or a competitive swing.

The 20 signals

  • - Financial: IPO, valuation update, earnings report, revenue report, strategic investment, asset acquisition, asset divestiture
  • - Leadership and team: executive promotion, executive departure, executive retirement, headcount increase
  • - Corporate structure: company spinoff, division spinoff, product integration, partnership ended
  • - Competitive and risk: competitor identified, lawsuit filing, bankruptcy filing, client lost, company incident

How does it work?

Find the new signals in Buyer Intent under the signals tab. Once you're tracking companies, each signal lets you:

  • - Filter tracked companies by signal type, alongside your existing time frame and segment filters
  • - Spin up a segment or workflow trigger from any signal with the "Use in" action
  • - See signals fire on the company timeline, with the source references behind each one
  • - Score companies on signal activity through lead scoring
  • - Build index views using the Recent Intent Signals company property

Every signal carries its own event detail: company domain, summary, references, and the specifics behind it (amounts, dates, partner names, executive names, locations), so you can segment and personalize down to what matters.
