Social users are now able to manage their Instagram direct messages from a single experience within HubSpot's Social Reply tab.
Businesses need a single location to manage all social interactions & to collaborate across team members. This reduces the stress of jumping across multiple platforms to manage these interactions and increases efficiency in deepening strong and authentic relationships with leads and customers.
You will need to connect or reconnect your Instagram account(s) and approve the required access permissions in order to begin managing Instagram direct messages within HubSpot. You will also need to ensure that ""Allow access to messages" is enabled in the settings for your connected Instagram account. Once this reconnection has been completed, your HubSpot inbox will start to receive new direct messages that are sent to your Instagram account.
Now, when you go to your Social Reply tab, you will see a "Direct messages" folder in your Inbox, which provides a view filtered to just your direct messages (you'll also see direct messages in the "All activity" folder). From here, you can select a direct message to view in more detail and respond, right from HubSpot.
You can also use the Actions menu on a direct message to create a Contact linked to the social profile that has messaged you, helping you build a more complete CRM to enable lead generation and marketing & sales automations.
