What is it?
|
Order Amount (Revenue) Attribution tells you how much revenue can be attributed to your marketing events using attribution models like linear, first touch, last touch, and time decay. Orders serve as the transactional record for changes to the Contracts object, which is the source of truth for revenue within HubSpot. |
Why does it matter?
|
With revenue data in your customer platform, you can connect your GTM efforts to the revenue they produce. For marketers, this means mapping top-of-funnel events to bottom-of-funnel outcomes. The attribution report makes this all possible with HubSpot and connects marketing efforts to Contacts (Created), Deals (Created), Deals (Closed-Won Amount), and now revenue in the form of Orders (Amount). |
How does it work?
Generate revenue data through Contracts and Orders
The Contracts object is the source of truth for revenue in HubSpot and it is available to Revenue Hub Pro and Enterprise. Orders are automatically generated from changes to Contracts and serve as the transactional record for revenue events. Create and manage Contracts in HubSpot to start tracking and understanding your revenue.
