Unified Data Backup and Restore

What is it?

Unified data backup and restore automatically captures your CRM data every day for the last 14 days, so you can roll back to any point in time without creating manual backups.


Why does it matter?

Data issues often surface days after they occur, when manual exports are already outdated. This eliminates the need for proactive data exports and reduces the time to fix data problems. You can quickly identify what changed in your CRM and selectively restore only the data segments that need fixing, without losing work your team completed after the issue occurred.


How does it work?

You must have super admin permissions to access and use this tool. To restore your data to a previous point in time:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Data Management > Backup and Restore
  2. Select a restore point from the last 14 days
  3. Review the changes that occurred since your selected point in time
  4. You can apply filters to restore only specific data segments (currently limited to data imported from a specific import)

Note: This will overwrite values to a previous state but won't remove property value history. Currently, you can only filter based on an import source. We're working on adding workflows and other sources in future updates.


Who gets it?

This feature is available for HubSpot Enterprise customers.
