Append Buyer Email to Payment Link Redirects

What is it?

You can now append the buyer's email to your redirect URL in payment links.

Why does it matter?

When someone completes a purchase using payment links, you now have the option to include the customer's email in the redirect URL. This enables better tracking and makes it easier to set up the correct onboarding experience for your customer upon redirect.

How does it work?

If you choose to redirect to a different page, you will see an option to append the buyer's email.

Redirect URL Setting

If you have an existing payment link, you can edit the payment link and turn on this setting. Once it's turned on, any successful checkouts with the payment link will have the buyer's email address appended to the redirect URL.

The email address will be encoded. For example, buyer+invoice@company.com would appear as ?email=buyer%2Binvoice%40company.com.
