Email Performance Anomaly Detection automatically keeps an eye on your marketing emails and informs you when something unusual happens with open rates, click rates, or unsubscribes—so you can quickly understand what’s going on and take action.

Instead of spending time digging through reports or wondering if a drop is normal, anomaly detection spots unusual changes for you, explains why they might be happening, and gives you recommended next steps. That means you can respond faster, protect your results, and act on opportunities with confidence.
How does it work?
On a daily basis, HubSpot will analyse your marketing email and generate insights for you when we have detected a performance anomaly.
You will be able to find and view any available insights on from within Marketing email, and from the email performance page.

- Anomalies that have been detected for emails with a higher and lower open rate, click through rate, and unsubscribe rate than expected.
- Insights into the root cause of what has caused this anomaly to be detected.
- Recommendations and next steps based on the root cause analysis where available.
- Benchmark insights for how performance metrics compare against email health benchmarks.
If there has been an anomaly detected, for which we don't have a recommended action, then we will surface the anomaly without any recommended action and next steps. Overtime we will look to expand the number of supported conditions and recommendations that we support.
