HubSpot connector for Microsoft Copilot

What is it?

With the HubSpot connector for Copilot, customers can bring their HubSpot context to Microsoft 365 Copilot to surface insights, and generate content to be actioned back in HubSpot.

  • Sales teams can ask for a summary of active deals organized by name, amount, and stage, and sorted by closing date to help prioritize the week.
  • Support reps can ask for all open tickets assigned to them, sorted by priority and creation date.
  • Customer success teams can ask to compare resolution approaches and outcomes across support channels to drive consistency and quality.

The HubSpot connector for Copilot is now in private beta and available for HubSpot customers across all tiers with a Microsoft 365 Copilot add-on license or the Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat add-on license with an eligible Microsoft 365 license. Learn more here.

Why does it matter?

We want customers to be able to use HubSpot context everywhere they're using AI. That's why we're expanding our list of AI connectors with the HubSpot connector for Copilot.

Nearly half of HubSpot customers are using multiple LLMs to work. So we’ve made it possible to bring their HubSpot context into these tools, get insights, and take action back in HubSpot.

We’re excited to add Microsoft 365 Copilot to our growing list of AI connectors with ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.

How does it work?

  1. Add the HubSpot Connector for Copilot to Microsoft 365. To get started, a Microsoft 365 admin must add the HubSpot Connector for Copilot to your organization's Microsoft 365 environment and choose which users can access it. Private beta participants can learn more about managing access here.
  2. Authorize the app in HubSpot. A Super Admin or a user with App Marketplace permissions in your HubSpot account must set up the connection for the first time and select the allowed permissions. Once this is done, they can grant access to other users.

Note: HubSpot users with a Partner seat will need one of the following permissions:

Once these steps have been completed, authorized users can begin using the HubSpot connector for Copilot.

Use the connector in Copilot

After an admin adds the connector to the Microsoft tenant and grants access to other users, the connector will be available in Microsoft 365 Copilot experiences, such as Teams or the Copilot interface.

  1. Navigate to Microsoft Copilot or Copilot in Microsoft Teams.
  2. In the left sidebar menu, click HubSpot.
  3. In the Copilot chat window, type your prompt and press enter. Or select a prompt from the recommended HubSpot prompts.
  4. If it is your first time using the connector, you’ll be prompted to log in to your HubSpot account. Click Sign in to HubSpot.
  5. Select the permissions you want to grant to the connector, then click Connect app.
  6. You’ll be prompted to confirm the information Copilot is going to access based on your prompt. Click Confirm.
  7. Copilot will use HubSpot context when responding.

Who gets it?

The HubSpot connector for Copilot is in private beta and available for HubSpot customers across all tiers with a Microsoft 365 Copilot add-on license or the Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat add-on license with an eligible Microsoft 365 license.
