What is it?

"Location-Based Login Restrictions" allows admins to restrict their users' logins based on geographical location.

 

Why does it matter?

This feature empowers admins to enhance their account security without needing deep security expertise. At the same time, location-based restrictions help reduce the risk of security events by blocking access from unexpected regions.

 

How does it work?

Admins can find this feature by going to Settings -> Security under the "Login" tab. The system analyzes your account's login history for all users in the past 90 days and creates a recommended allowlist based on historical login locations. Locations can be added or removed within the setup.

Additionally, users can be exempted from the requirement if you have high mobility team members who are frequently moving locations.
