What is it?

Admins can now restrict who can view sensitive standard line item properties — like Unit cost and Margin — using field-level permissions.

Why does it matter?

Not every user needs to see pricing and profitability data. View permissions for line item properties let you:

• Keep sensitive pricing information — like Unit cost and Margin — visible only to authorized users
• Give Finance and RevOps teams access to confidential data while keeping it hidden from other users
• Protect pricing and profitability information consistently across your sales process

This builds on the existing edit permissions for line item properties, giving admins full control over both who can see and who can change sensitive fields.

How does it work?

To manage view access for a line item property:

1. Go to Settings > Properties.
2. Select Line item properties.
3. Choose a standard property and click Manage permissions.
4. Select the appropriate access level.

Key details

• - View and edit permissions are supported for standard line item properties
• - Changes to Unit cost and Margin automatically apply to related pricing properties
• - Custom line item properties are not supported in this release
