What is it?
Folders introduce a new way to organize your views in the help desk sidebar. Group related views into named folders, keeping your sidebar clean, structured, and easy to navigate.
Why does it matter?
The sidebar can quickly get crowded as your team creates more views to manage the support process. Without a way to organize views, finding the right one means more scrolling, more clicks, and more friction during your busiest moments. Folders give your team a simple structure to make views easily accessible.
How does it work?
The Help Desk sidebar will be divided into three sections (Insights, Views, Spaces). All views in the More/Less section of your sidebar will be automatically moved into a new folder called "Other."
Folders can be created in both the Views and Spaces sections and are only visible to the creator.
Creating a folder
Click the "+" button in the views sidebar and select **Create folder**. A new folder will appear and you can name it inline right away.

Staying organized
- - Rename folders by clicking the menu option next to a folder and selecting "Rename folder"
- - Reorder folders and the views inside them via drag and drop
- - Collapse or expand folders to cut down on sidebar clutter
- - Delete a folder when you no longer need it. Your views will be preserved and returned to the sidebar.
