What is it?

You can now select and reorder the properties that display on contacts, companies, deals, tickets, and custom objects in your global search results.

Why does it matter?

The properties that display in search results have historically been uniform across all users and portals. The customizable search results display will enable you to individually edit the properties that appear on results for contacts, companies, deals, tickets, and custom objects, making it easier to identify the right record in search and gather information quickly.

How does it work?

To customize your search results display:

1. Click into any search bar to open the search dropdown
2. Click the Settings cog icon to the right of the search bar
3. In the settings window, choose your object type (contacts, companies, deals, tickets, or custom objects)
4. Select which properties you'd like to see in your results
5. Drag and drop properties to arrange them in your preferred order

Admin options: Admins can choose to apply customizations for just themselves or for all users in the portal.
