Improved Notifications for Workflow Issues

What is it?

Workflow notifications now alert users every time a unique workflow issue reappears, with smart throttling to prevent notification overload from cascading errors.

Why does it matter?

Users often missed critical workflow errors because notifications only fired for the first error, leading to unnoticed problems and frustration. This change ensures users are promptly informed of recurring or new issues and prevents silent failures, making it easier to catch and resolve workflow problems without constantly checking the Issues tab.

How does it work?

  • When an issue occurs in a workflow, a notification is sent to the user.
  • If the issue later reoccurs, a new notification is sent.
  • Notifications are automatically throttled per workflow per day, so users won't be overwhelmed if multiple errors happen at once.
  • No additional configuration is required; notifications follow the user's existing workflow notification settings.
