Inline Association Tables

What is it?

Inline association tables let you expand any CRM record row with one click to view, filter, and act on associated records — without leaving the page.

Why does it matter?

Before this, answering cross-object questions from a CRM index page like "which contacts have an associated deal closing next month?" meant navigating record-by-record or pulling an export. Now users can view, filter, and take action on related records directly within their current view, without losing their place.

How does it work?

  1. Go to any CRM index page (e.g., Contacts, Companies).
  2. Click the caret icon next to any record row to expand the inline table.
  3. Select the associated object type you want to view.
  4. From the inline table, search, filter, adjust columns, or take bulk actions — all without navigating away.
