What is it?
Reps can now attach images and files while creating or editing CRM records. File properties support camera photos, library images, and files such as PDFs across optional, required, and conditional fields.
Why does it matter?
Reps often capture important context in the field, for example, a signed document, a photo of a site or a customer ID but until now there was no way to attach that directly to a CRM record from mobile.
They'd finish the visit, make a mental note, and try to track it down later from a desktop. Or they'd skip attaching it altogether. Either way, the record stayed incomplete. Adding photos and documents in one mobile workflow keeps records complete, removes the need to return to a desktop or reconcile attachments later
How does it work?
When creating or editing a CRM record, tapping a File Property opens a picker with three options: take a photo, choose from the library, or pick a file. Once completed the upload attaches directly to the record on save.
- - Tap any File Property field in a create or edit form
- - A picker appears with Take photo, Choose photo, and Choose file options
- - Files and images appear as thumbnails inline before saving. Tap any thumbnail to preview or remove it
- - Tap Save: files upload and attach to the record's File property
- - If a save is attempted while an upload is still in progress, a message appears to wait until it finishes
Who gets it?
This feature is available to all hubs and tiers on iOS and Android. Please ensure you have the latest version of the HubSpot mobile app downloaded.
