What is it?

Passkeys are a secure, easy to use alternative to passwords. While passkey login has been available across Web and Mobile HubSpot logins, using passkeys when signing in to the Microsoft Outlook HubSpot Sales Add-In was limited, or completely unavailable depending on your device type.

Now, passkeys can be utilized on your HubSpot Outlook Sales Add-In login, bringing end to end passkey support across everywhere you login with HubSpot.

Why does it matter?

Moving away from passwords is the best protection for your account. Passkeys are phishing-resistant and are simpler to use, often just confirming your login with a biometric action or pin code that is native to your device.

How does it work?

If you have a passkey configured, when logging in to the HubSpot Sales Add-In for Outlook:

• Choose login with passkey
• A separate browser window will open
• Complete the passkey login request
• Click return to Outlook
• You are logged in.
