What is it?
Admins can now create project templates with pre-defined tasks for team members to use when creating new projects in HubSpot.
Why does it matter?
Project templates help teams efficiently create projects from existing templates and ensure consistency across your organization. Instead of manually adding tasks after creating each project, your team can start with standardized processes that include all necessary tasks. This saves time and helps ensure projects follow your established workflows from the start.
How does it work?
To create project templates:
- Navigate to Settings > Objects > Projects
- Click Create project template to build a new template or select Create template from this project from an existing project
- Configure which properties to include in the template
- Add pre-defined tasks that will be included when team members use the template
When creating a new project, users can:
- Go to the projects index page or open the association sidebar from any CRM record
- Click Create from template instead of Create project
- Select the appropriate template
- Edit, add, or remove tasks before creating the project record
Who gets it?
This feature is available for all paid subscriptions.
