Scaling Native WhatsApp for Marketers

What is it?

HubSpot is expanding its native WhatsApp capabilities with three major updates: in-app template creation and editing, batch WhatsApp marketing sends, and Marketing Studio integration. Together, these enhancements make WhatsApp a more powerful, scalable marketing channel, enabling customers to create, manage, and deliver campaigns entirely within HubSpot.

Why does it matter?

Before, customers had to switch between HubSpot and Meta to create templates & manage campaigns. These updates remove that friction, making it easier to scale WhatsApp marketing, reach larger audiences (with bulk sending), and build omnichannel campaigns - all while reinforcing HubSpot's long-term investment in WhatsApp.

How does it work?

Template creation & editing:

Marketers can now create and edit WhatsApp templates directly in HubSpot.

Click "Create a template"

Name and set up

Create your template and submit to Meta for approval

Bulk marketing WhatsApps:

Send batch/bulk marketing campaigns to targeted segments/audiences

WhatsApp in marketing studio:

Create or include WhatsApp message in Marketing Studio journeys from studio, or the WhatsApp tool itself.
