This change helps merchants maintain a single invoice while allowing buyers to pay in multiple installments within permitted payment method limits, reducing confusion and failed payments.

How does it work?

At Checkout

• When a buyer pays an invoice with partial payments enabled, the payment amount field defaults to the maximum allowed for the selected payment method.
• If a buyer enters a payment amount above the method's limit, an error message displays and payment cannot proceed.

• Partial payments must be enabled on the invoice.
