What is it?
You can now view and manage all incoming leads from lead generation ads in one place with the new Leads tab in Ads.
Within the Leads tab, you can:
- View all incoming leads from all lead generation ads so you can see who arrived and who didn't. You can filter these by account or form.
- See all issues with your lead forms with clear guidance on how to resolve them.
- Bulk edit field mappings across all multiple lead generation forms
- Watch an easy-to-understand animation of how lead syncing works
Why does it matter?
Errors with lead syncing are one of the most common reasons customers contact HubSpot support, and most only discovered the problem after their pipelines dropped or automations broke.
Until now, managing lead syncing meant combing through vague error messages in a hidden settings page with no visibility into which leads synced and which didn't. Every failure became a support ticket.
The new Leads tab gives you the visibility and guidance to catch missed leads early and resolve errors without needing to contact support.
How does it work?
Accessing the Leads Tab
Navigate to Marketing > Ads, then click the Leads tab.
Viewing incoming leads
Each incoming lead shows its current sync status (synced, saved with a mapping issue, or filed) along with a timestamp. You can filter by network, form, or status to quickly see what's failing.
Resolving issues
If any forms or leads have issues, they appear in an Issues section at the top of the Leads tab. Errors are grouped by type:
- - Account-level issues (e.g., a network connection was lost)
- - Form-level issues (e.g., the form limit was exceeded)
- - Field-level issues (e.g., field mapping mismatches or type conflicts)
- - Lead-level issues (e.g., individual leads that failed to sync into HubSpot)
For each error, you'll see whether you can fix it yourself and how to do so. If support is needed, the tab will say so directly.
Managing field mappings
You can view and edit field mappings for all your forms from the Leads tab, including bulk edits across multiple forms. Fixes apply to future leads.
Note: The original Lead Syncing Settings tab remains available.
