Shared Users and Team Properties on Additional Objects

What is it?

You can now use shared users and teams properties with appointment, course, listing, and service objects.

Why does it matter?

Shared users and teams properties already exist for contacts, companies, deals, tickets, and custom objects. This addition creates consistency across all your objects.

How does it work?

To give users access to records in addition to those they own, you can share individual appointment, course, listing or service records (on top of the objects already supported). When you share a record with a user or team, it gives the user or primary members of the team access to the record consistent with each user's object permissions. For example, if you share a record with a user who has permission to view their own services but doesn't have permission to edit or delete services, they can view the shared record but cannot edit or delete it.

You can share records through:

  • Individual record pages
  • Views
  • Workflows

To check which users or teams have access to a record, click Actions within the record page and select View record access.
